June 23-27, the faculty of Law held Human Rights Summer School. For the first time in Russia 4 teams of different Russian universities competed in the “Model of European Human Rights Court” contest. Attendees also visited the Sakharov Center, took part in the round table on human rights in Russia today, listened to a cycle of lectures “Human Rights Based Approach” and discussed topical issues of the protection of human rights in Russia, current threats and challenges.
