International Summer School «Intercultural dialogue – East and West»

The Institute of Foreign Languages of RUDN University invites you to join us in the heart of Russia to study one of our short executive education courses within one of the Russia's best universities. Our intensive training and development programme «Intercultural dialogue – East and West» is designed to meet the challenges of the modern world. The two-week International Summer School offers university-level courses in marketing, economics, advertising, international public relations, all with a focus on Russia, Europe and Asia. The programme is taught by outstanding lecturers and professors from RUDN Universityin English and other languages on request.

The programme is based on the regular Master’s Degree Programme Course 41.04.01 «Regional Studies» taught at the Institute of Foreign Languages and designed for B.A. undergraduate and graduate students who would like to improve their knowledge in the field and experience life in a higher institution in Russia.

All our summer courses are flexible, which allows us to build custom packages that suit the interests of different groups of visitors. So whether you are looking for an intensive course that suits your particular needs, or you just want a chance to learn about the culture and history of Russia, we are ready to provide you with the course you like.

In the past, we have successfully organized Summer School Programmes for students from such countries as Spain, Venezuela, Latvia, Austria, the Republic of Korea, Afghanistan, Peru and Colombia.

The two-week International Summer School offers university-level courses in subjects including marketing, management, international relations and advertising, all with a focus on Russia, Europe and Asia. The programme is taught by professors and senior lecturers from PFUR.

Educational Aims of the Programme The programme combines high-quality multidisciplinary teaching and training in European Studies and Intercultural Communication. This programme provides in-depth training in intercultural communication, with a focus on its relevance to people working in business or in other professions (e.g. education, medicine, PR). Our flexible programme allows you to focus on the things that interest you most.

You will have a chance to analyse and discuss the changes and challenges faced by Europe and Asia with regard to their external policies as well as daily interaction with Russia.
