IV meeting of Rectors of Spanish and Russian universities

IV meeting of Rectors of Spanish and Russian universities. November 6-8, 2014, in Madrid, the IV meeting of Rectors of Spanish and Russian universities took place. During the event, the main directions of scientific and educational activities of Russian and Spanish universities were presented; participants discussed the main programs of state support of leading universities of the Russian Federation "entry into the world university rankings" and future trends of bilateral cooperation were considered. One of the sections named "Teaching Russian in Spain and the Spanish language in Russia" was headed by Mikheeva Natalya Fyodorovna, prof., PhD, academician of IHEAS, academician of RAE, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of Peoples' Friendship University. Natalya Fyodorovna gave a presentation in Spanish on the topic: "Economic and political factors that boost the activity of studying the Spanish language in the world."
