April 17, RUDN University IFL hosted a lecture “Ancient Stories and Modern Times” by Professor Umberto Tozzi from the University of San Vincenzo (Italy). His lecture touched upon life experience of antecedent generations reflected in stories and its influence on perception of various situations and finding solutions. Professor Tozzi thinks it is in stories where the young generation can find answers to any question they are worried about – what is true faith, love and loyalty. Professor Tozzi also participated in a student scientific conference “The Italian regional tales’ features”, where IFL linguists (Masters and Bachelors) presented their research of Sicilian, Piedmont and Tuscan tales.
