The seminar is held within the framework of the activities of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation of CIS member states for the period up to 2020. It is organized by the order of the Federal Agency for Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).
The rapid development of innovative technologies in recent years proves that this area becomes the basis for the growth of national economies. However, each country develops its own scenario, but its scale and success is determined by the degree of readiness of the scientific school.
The Director of the Center of scientific and technological foresight of St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics Natalia Lukovnikova, author of the project-winner of the National Award "Innovation Management" Dmitri Sapegin and Chairman of Perm regional branch of the All-Russian "Investment Russia" public organization, Ph.D. Sergei Isayev are going to speak about the readiness of the universities to innovative activity

Institutions of the former Soviet Union need to agree upon the common approaches and methods to become the points of growth of innovation. Preliminary expert evaluation of the actual capacity of the programme gives them such an opportunity. It is expected that more than 100 research workers of universities of the CIS countries participate in the seminar. They form a project of matrix of current priority tendency for the realization of programs in information and educational activities, as well as methods of preparation and achievement of innovative projects at the universities during the studies on the job sections.
