July 28, 2016, Roscosmos state corporation and RUDN University signed an agreement on long term strategic cooperation.
July 28, 2016, Roscosmos state corporation and RUDN University signed an agreement on long term strategic cooperation. Igor Komarov, Roscosmos General Director met Vladimir Filippov, RUDN Rector and Alexander Chursin, Director of RUDN Institute of Space Technologies to discuss joint plans, training staff for Roscosmos and involving RUDN researchers and academics in Roscosmos programs.
The plan will be realized by RUDN Institute of Space Technologies created in 2013 for fulfilling Roscosmos research, education and foreign economic activity tasks.
Roscosmos and RUDN are planning to create forecast methodology of strategic directions of innovation development and assessment of the world market of space production.
The parties coordinated RUDN and Roscosmos joint plan for 2016-2017 and appointed responsible persons. They also discussed plans of developing the International Marketing Center set up by Roscosmos and RUDN University. Heads of Roscosmos and RUDN also agreed on continuing work with TsNIIMASH, Agat organization and Tekhnomash- companies doing joint research with RUDN University.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
