June 4, 2014, in Smolensk the interuniversity Olympic Games among interns in "Traumatology and orthopedics" took place. Competition gathered 10 teams from different subjects of Central federal district. Educational surgery during which the doctors needed to join splinters of the broken human limb became the main task of the Olympic Games. Instead of real bones there were authentic plastic models, but all clamps and tools were real. Other tests were theoretical. It is a situational task where doctors are offered to develop a strategy of treatment of this or that trauma, and a testing. The questions of the test allow to reveal whether the young doctor follows the main tendencies in medicine. The best in a team competition, were RUDN University interns : • Bodyo Roman Vladimirovich • Myuller Yanis Vladimirovich • Borzykh Maxim Sergeevich • Lomdzharya Georgy Aleksandrovich Myuller Yanis Vladimirovich became the best in individual offset. They also got the first prize - training in traumatology and orthopedics clinic abroad.

RUDN University entered the top-30 "greenest" universities in the world according to GreenMetric 2021 ranking

RUDN has risen to the 28th position in the international ranking of environmentally friendly universities UI GreenMetric 2021 remaining the “greenest” university in Russia. This is the best result in the history of the university’s ranking participation since 2011. The list of the “greenest” universities was published on December 14. There are 956 universities from 80 countries, including 54 universities from Russia. The goal of the UI GreenMetric — assess universities according to campus development ecological sustainability and the energy-saving model of university management.
