Peoples' friendship university of Russia has entered TOP-5 Russian universities and is No.1 in the level of international activity (internationalization) according to Interfax and "Echo of Moscow" radiostation annual rating. 2013/2014 National rating ranked 161 HEIs, including 74 classical universities, 29 Russian research institutes, 37 engineering and technological universities (including 3 railroad ), 12 economic universities, 3 agrarian , 2 pedagogic , 2 civil engineering, 1 medical and 1 non-governmental. Six parametres were ranked: educational activity, internationalization; socialization; brand; innovation and entrepreneurial activity.
