RUDN takes part in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Nepalese Alumni Association
15-20 May, the Nepalese Association of graduates of USSR and CIS universities celebrates its 50th anniversary in Katmandu. RUDN delegation takes part in the event with a round table «Day of RUDN in Nepal».
15-20 May, the Nepalese Association of graduates of USSR and CIS universities celebrates its 50th anniversary in Katmandu. RUDN delegation takes part in the event with a round table «Day of RUDN in Nepal», where participants will discuss initiatives of the University on cooperation with associations of graduates of Russian (Soviet) universities, employment of international graduates and RUDN work in this direction, cooperation of the university, graduate and employer and other issues.
RUDN will also hold Olympiads in physics and mathematics for Bachelor students and chemistry for secondary school students. The winners will get a chance to study at RUDN for free.
The Nepalese Association of graduates of USSR and CIS universities was founded in 1967 in Nepal. Today it is a very influential organization comprising more than 2,000 people out of 5,000 CIS universities graduates. The Association promotes professional and academic links of Nepalese graduates and CIS universities, helps graduates find jobs, assists in choosing a Russian university and develops cooperation with the Russian Center for science and culture in Katmandu. In the Association there ae about 500 RUDN Alumni.
RUDN University has confirmed its status as a leading university, taking 10th place in 2026 National Ranking of Universities compiled by the Interfax Group. The university’s achievements were particularly recognized in the “Cooperation” and “Brand” categories.
Peoples‘ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) has been awarded the All-Russian prize “Time for Innovations” for its patented development ‘Digital Pre-University Faculty’, which allows you to study Russian from anywhere in the world.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
