RUDN united experts from 21 countries to discuss world tendencies of bilingual education
In December, RUDN hosted II International scientific-practical conference “Bilingualism and bilingual education in Russia and worldwide; current tendencies” under the auspices of the International Academy of the Russian language and literature.
In December, RUDN hosted II International scientific-practical conference “Bilingualism and bilingual education in Russia and worldwide; current tendencies” under the auspices of the International Academy of the Russian language and literature.
More than 100 people from 21 countries participated. Representatives of different fields of philology, academics, teachers and researchers discussed the theory of language contacts and bilingualism, the Russian language studies, teaching Russian in Russia and the world, bilingual education, teaching migrants and testing, translation issues and challenges
The main aim of the conference – expanding professional links and familiarization with new research as well as sharing experience. The experts were unanimous in a number of opinions about the future research and education processes and standards and adaptation of migrants and their children in a new language and culture situation.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
