RUDN University – the greenest university in Russia. UI GreenMetric – 2017 ranking published

RUDN is No. 44 in GreenMetric university ranking. This is the best result since 2011

The list of 619 universities from 76 countries including 29 Russian universities has been published for the 8th time.

The aim of this ranking is to provide the result of online survey regarding the current condition and policies related to Green Campus and Sustainability in the Universities all over the world.

Assessment is done according to 6 criteria: Setting and infrastructure (SI), Energy and climate change (EC), Waste (WS), Water (WR), Transportation (TR) and Education (ED).

Compared to last year RUDN has improved in 5 criteria out of 6: Energy and climate change (EC), Waste (WS), Water (WR), Transportation (TR) and Education (ED).

In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
