RUDN University is among TOP-500 best universities of the world in the QS World University Rankings 2019
RUDN has strengthened its position in the QS World University Rankings 2019, taking the 446th place.
"RUDN University has demonstrated the most noticeable growth among all Russian universities," said Zoya Zaitseva, regional director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at QS Ltd (UK).
The best results are in the International Student Ratio - now it occupies the 104th place in the world (+31 points compared to last year). In terms of Faculty/Student Ratio RUDN ranks 172nd, which is 14 positions better than the previous ranking.
"Last year RUDN rose 100 positions, this year - another 104. The university set a course for progressive development, and the success in the QS ranking is the performance of the whole team. This became possible thanks to our researchers - first of all, mathematicians, chemists and physicists. We are in for a lot of hard work, because it's not easy to join the ranks of leaders, but it's even harder to stay there and move higher, "said RUDN Rector Vladimir Filippov.
QS World University Rankings 2019 analyzed 4,763 universities from 151 countries, but the final version of the list included only 1,011 of them, including 27 Russian HEIs.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
