RUDN University is in the Top 50 of the QS University Rankings: Emerging Europe & Central Asia 2021
The results of the regional ranking QS: Eastern Europe & Central Asia 2021 (QS EECA) have been published. RUDN University entered the Top 50 among 400 universities in developing countries in Europe and Central Asia. The position of RUDN University has improved compared to last year — the University has risen from 58th to 43rd place.
“RUDN University has demonstrated the maximum dynamics of all universities included in the Top-100 of the QS EECA ranking, and moved to the Top-50. Thus, in the QS Eastern Europe & Central Asia 2021 ranking, the university has risen by 15 positions compared to last year. Of course, a place in the ranking is not an end in itself, but clearly reflects the qualitative changes that are taking place at the university — recognition by the international academic community and employers has increased, the quality of scientific research has risen, academic cooperation with foreign researchers is dynamically developing (growth of the indicator ‘International scientific links’; increase in the number of citations is more than twice as compared to the ranking of last year), ” says Elina Moon, Director of the Center for Ranking Research, RUDN University.
RUDN University has shown growth in seven out of ten indicators. The university showed a significant growth in terms of “Reputation among employers” (78.9 points) and “International scientific links” (83.5 points). The ratio of teaching staff to students also increased (94.1 points).
RUDN University is in the Top-15 and occupies the 14th position among 121 Russian universities participating in the QS EECA ranking.
RUDN University has the maximum growth dynamics in the Top-100 of the QS University Rankings: Emerging Europe Central Asia.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
