Student festival “Planet South-West”

The student festival “The planet South-West” took place in front of the main building of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia on May 8. The military band opened “All honour to motherland” concert program of the student festival “The Planet South-West”. During the festival veterans and guests could get acquainted with the culture of Europe, South-East Asia, The Middle East, Africa, Latin America and enjoy a small part of every culture at traditional exhibitions organized by PHUR students. “Front-line dinner” was cooked for all participants of the festival in the field kitchen. The artistic groups of the International Culture Centre (Interclub) and students unions prepared another present: solemn Victory Day greetings and “Saved world remembers” concert program. This bloc of the concert was devoted to the forthcoming Victory Day with war songs and dances.
