RUDN University women volleyball team took third place in the strongest contest with worthy competitors, including sports universities! "We were looking forward to this trip! Of course, we were primed only for victory and we were ready for the fact that it will be very difficult. The games were exhausting. At times it seemed that there is no strength to continue anymore. However, we played every game as if it was our last game, giving all our powers to win! This trip brought us closer together and it will certainly affect our future competitions,"- says Darina Tymoshenko, member of the RUDN University women volleyball team, 2nd year student of Institute of Foreign Languages.

The opening ceremony was held on 3 October in Vitebsk Central Sport Complex. On the same day, the first volleyball games were held among young men. Ivan Bogomolov, member of the RUDN University men volleyball team, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Humanitarian and Social Sciences, said about this event: "RUDN University teams in volleyball, table tennis and basketball (3x3) took an active part in the Student Youth Games competition. It was difficult for our teams to play, because level of the other participants training was quite high. However, we showed what we are capable of. We fought hard and we have learned lessons for the future."

The first Games of the Union State for Children and Youth was held in 2003. Every year this event expands the number of participants, geography and sports.
