April 24-25, The Global University Forum took place at Moscow State Institute of International Relations with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and The Ministry of Education and in association with Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and The National University of Science and Technology "MISIS". Among the participants of the Forum were rectors, leading professors and researchers from various countries around the world. Directors of foreign offices, Departments of Science Education, representatives of the economic authorities and international organizations spoke in public at the Forum. New mechanisms of the stimulation of the economic development, prognostication and prevention of global risks; problems of the economization of traditional agenda in the field of international security; issues of food security and the state of Health care system were considered within the framework of this Forum. April 24, The Rector of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia Vladimir Filippov took part in the 1st Plenary session “The expert and prognostic potential of the universities in the guarantee of a stable future”, the moderator of which was V. Kaganov, Russian deputy Minister of Education and Science. Among the speakers were: V.A.Sadovnichiy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, L. Richardson, Rector of The University of St Andrews (Scotland), D. Davidson, Chairman of American Councils for International Education, A.A. Chernikova, Rector of The National University of Science and Technology "MISIS", M.N.Rusetskaya, Rector of The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute and S. Hawking, member of the Royal Society of London and Director of the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology at Cambridge (video address) . April 25, The plenary session took place in Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. V.M. Filippov acted as moderator and the guests were L.M. Ogorodova, deputy Minister of Education of Russia, G. Ordzhonikidze , Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, S. Nourda, President of Magna Charta Observatory universities, B. Baumann, Independent expert in the field of education, T. Cliffordamos, Independent expert in the field of Development of European Higher Education. April 25, The creative team of Interclub took part in the concert part of the Global University Forum which took place in Moscow State Institute of International Relations (“MGIMO”).

RUDN University confirms the title of the "greenest" university in Russia and strengthens its position in the global ranking

RUDN rose to the 26th position in the UI GreenMetric 2022 ranking and confirmed the status of the “greenest” university in Russia. The ranking includes 1,050 world universities, of which 52 are Russian.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia is represented in all 16 subject rankings and in five out of six subject profiles of the Expert Analytical Center ranking. RUDN University showed the best results in the following areas: “Ecology” and “Agriculture and Biological Sciences” — 1st place. “Mathematics”, “Chemistry”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Renewable Energy” are in the TOP — 5 subject ranking. In total, 152 universities were ranked in 2022 (137 in 2021).
