663 projects of lecturers of Master’s courses from 75 universities were chosen to compete in the contest. 663 projects of lecturers of Master’s courses from 75 universities were chosen to compete in the contest. The works covered various fields from neurobiology and programming to laser engineering and psychology. The expert council chose 50 winners representing 39 HEIs to get grants up to 500,000 rubles for projects to be realized within the period of up to one year. One of the winners was Anastasia Kamionskaya, associate professor of the department of botany, plants physiology and agrobiotechnologies of RUDN University Agrarian faculty with her project “State regulation of biotechnological (GM) agrarian products turnover in the world”.

RUDN returns the name of Patrice Lumumba

The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) again has the name of Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who has become a symbol of the African peoples’ struggle for independence. RUDN rose to the 26th position in the UI GreenMetric 2022 ranking and confirmed the status of the “greenest” university in Russia. The ranking includes 1,050 world universities, of which 52 are Russian.
