Visit of RUDN University delegation to Germany

February 6-8, RUDN University delegation headed by the vice rector for scientific work prof. N. Kirabayev visited Germany for participation in the Russian-German festive events devoted to the opening of "The House of Lomonosov" in Freiberg. The rector of Frayberg mountain academy Bernd Mayer, the Minister of Finance of the federal Land of Saxony George Unland, the deputy of the Bundestag Veronika Belman, burgomaster of Freiberg Bernd-Ergen Shramm, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Germany V.N.Grinin, the governor of the Arkhangelsk region I.A.Orlov, the vice governor of St. Petersburg V.N.Kichedzhi, the rector of the St. Petersburg mountain academy V. S. Litvinenko took part in the festive events. "The house of Lomonosov" is a house in which the great scientist lived in 1739. Now this building will be a hotel for the Russian and German students, graduate students, trainees and teachers, coming to be trained and work in Frayberg mountain academy within interuniversity cooperation. Reconstruction and repair of this building were carried out at the expense of "Marianni and Frank-Mikhail Engel" foundation with the participation of the St. Petersburg mountain academy with the support of the President of Russia and the German chancellor.
