Visit of the president of Al-Mustafa International University (Iran) Mr. Arafi December 12, 2014 the President of Al-Mustafa International University (Iran) Mr. Ayatulla Arafi and his representative in Moscow Mr. Hamid Reza Solti visited RUDN University. The delegation of the Iranian university was received by the Rector of RUDN University, academician of the Russian Academy of Education V. M. Filippov. During the conversation they exchanged views on the Russian-Iranian cooperation in the fields of education and science. Mr. Ayatulla Arafi told the Rector of RUDN University V. M. Filippov about large Iran investments into research development in the field of nanotechnologies, biotechnologies and space technologies. He noted the high level of political trust between Russia and Iran, having paid attention to the available potential and need of development of scientific cooperation between the two states. In turn the Rector of RUDN University professor V. M. Filippov offered two directions of possible cooperation between RUDN University and Al-Mustafa International university - joint scientific research in the field of the Arab philosophy and cooperation in teaching Russian as a foreign language. RUDN University is ready to provide training for Iran of teachers of Russian as a foreign language and increase their qualification, including in Iran. In the conclusion of the meeting V. M. Filippov invited the president of Al-Mustafa International university Mr. Ayatull Arafi to take part in the 55th anniversary of RUDN University which will be celebrated in February, 2015.
