XIXth week of African students culture

XIXth week of African students culture April 19-24, XIX-th week of African students culture was held at the University. Official opening ceremony of the Culture Week was held 21/04/15, at the Main Building of Peoples' Friendship University Hall. The official opening ceremony was attended by RUDN University's Rector Prof. V. Filippov, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and members of diplomatic missions of 18 African countries, representatives of the University administration, professors, staff and students of Peoples’ Friendship University. Rector V. Filippov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burkina Faso in the Russian Federation, Peoples’ Friendship University graduate, Mr. Antoine Somda spoke at the opening ceremony. Part of the Culture Week were the final of the tournament on mini-football in the SC "Megasphere", meeting of the African cinema club at the Museum, national exhibitions of fraternities, conference "Africa in search of the path of stable development", round table “Creoles of Africa" and an evening concert in the auditorium of the main building of RUDN University.
