The minister of foreign affairs of Sierra Leone to visit RUDN

22 July, 2017, Dr.Kamara, minister of foreign Affairs and international cooperation of Sierra Leone will meet RUDN authorities.

Sierra Leone and RUDN have long been friends, RUDN being the first Russian university to render assistance in training staff for the national economy of the country.

Since 1960, RUDN has prepared 143 specialists in agriculture, civil engineering, management and medicine. In 1988, the two counties signed a protocol of degrees equivalence.

Sierra Leone and RUDN are proud of the graduates. Among them - Edjo Ovone Frederico, graduate'78 of the Faculty of Science, ex-Rector of Malabo university and Ngema Marcelino Ongene, graduate '79 of the Medical faculty, governmental official and ex-minister of foreign affairs.

RUDN will continue to develop partner relations with the universities of Sierra Leone and promote friendship between the two countries.
