An exhibition, a round table and a mini-football tournament... RUDN University hosts cultural days of students from Algeria

The event was attended by more than 350 students from Russia, Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. The students organized an exhibition of the fraternity, introducing the guests to national dances, treating them to Algerian coffee, Arabic sweets and talked about the culture and history of the people of the country. The week ended with a futsal tournament.

“Representing your country, your people, history and culture at RUDN University is a great honor. Algeria ranks first on the continent in terms of territory, while the northern coast of the country is washed by the Mediterranean Sea. This is where Arabs and Berbers live, our life is rich with their customs. We invite you to visit Algeria,” Nadia Bengrina, President of the Algerian Community.

Benmaza Sonia Farahnaz, Cultural Advisor at the Embassy of the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic, attended the opening of the event.

Costumes, toys and crafts... A week of culture of students from Asian countries at RUDN

December 4–10, RUDN University hosted the XXVI Week of Culture of Students from Asian Countries for more than 2,500 guests. The Week featured exhibitions of fraternities, where students demonstrated national costumes, children's toys, household utensils and folk crafts.
