“Nobody has held such large-scale tournaments before us”: 122 chess players from 16 countries compete at RUDN University
The geography of chess players covered 16 countries, including Abkhazia, Argentina, Egypt, Jordan, Spain, Lebanon, Tanzania, Turkey, South Ossetia and Japan.
“Before us, no one has held such large-scale tournaments. We will continue with the tournament, focusing on the countries in Africa and the Middle East,” Dmitry Ilyin, Director of the Center for the Development of Social Innovation of Public Initiatives.

The next tournament will take place in January 2024.

A themed train dedicated to the 65th anniversary of RUDN University has been launched in the Moscow Metro! For six months, the train will run along the Sokolnicheskaya Line.

An architectural-landscape project by a 5th-year student of RUDN has been shortlisted for the annual International Professional ADD AWARDS 2024 for architects, designers, and developers in the “Urban Environment” category.
