18 April, RUDN Law Institute department of forensic expertise and department of the theory of law and state host and international conference “East - West: partnership in forensic expertise, improving forensic-expertise activity as a factor ensuring environmental safety and preserving bio diversity”.
Experts will share experience in forensic expertise activity and fighting criminal offence against protected species of animals and plants. They will also discuss environmental safety and preserving rare and endangered species.

In March, the first stone was laid in the foundation of a new student dorm on RUDN campus. The new building (total area 13,302,7 sq.m) will accommodate 568 students in 274 double or triple rooms. The dorm is due to be finished by September 2018.
In April, RUDN hosted a round table «Enhancing competiveness of young people in SCO countries» for students and staff of SCOU partner universities, representatives of the RF Ministry of education and science, SCO Youth Board and embassies of SCO countries.
