25 Jul
Format: Seminar
About the event

Organizer: Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), scientific and educational resource center "Innovative Technologies of Immunophenotyping, digital spatial profiling and ultrastructural analysis" (SERC Molecular Morphology).

Venue: The Main building of the RUDN at the address: Moscow, Miklukho-Maklaya str., 6, Hall No. 1, or on-line format.

The international seminar has an interdisciplinary character and unites scientific groups whose research focus affects the issues of the tissue microenvironment (TME). The study of TME phenotype occupies key positions in translational projects for the implementation of the scientific results in clinical practice. Modern technologies for analyzing the morpho functional architecture of the immune and stromal landscape of local tissue niches. It includs spatial biology approaches, provides the most important information about the developmental mechanisms of physiological and pathological processes. The results of the TME exploratory studies can be used in personalized medicine to develop original translational biomarkers, new methods of diagnosis and treatment, including socially significant diseases. During the international seminar, it is planned to discuss topical issues of molecular medicine, which are closely related to the TME functional morphology.

The participants of the seminar are leading Russian and foreign scientists whose research is devoted to the functional morphology of the tissue microenvironment.

The topic of the fifth session: “The intestinal microbiota and its role in the development of non-infectious diseases. A personalized approach to the therapeutic use of molecular hydrogen”.

The speaker is Oleg Stefanovich Medvedev, professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences (Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Moscow State University).
