About the Competition

Competition Objective: to attract leading world-class scientists with experience at leading Russian and foreign higher education institutions and research organisations to conduct research/R&D at RUDN University as leaders of research teams.

The research study shall be aimed at addressing specific tasks within one of the areas specified in Clause 21 of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation (approved by Decree No. 145 of the President of the Russian Federation dated 28 February 2024 “On the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation”), which enable significant scientific and scientific-and-technological results to be obtained and domestic knowledge-intensive technologies to be created, as well as at addressing tasks within the priority research areas of RUDN University.

The Competition Documentation sets out the requirements for Competition participants and Application (research Project) content, the Application expert review procedure, the funding and implementation terms for supported Projects, and the methodology for determining performance indicators.
