RUDN University took part in the International Specialized Exhibition “The World of Biotechnology 2017” and the Competition of Young Scientists

On February 20-22, 2017, in Moscow Gostiny Dvor passed The International Specialized Exhibition World of Biotechnology 2017 and the International Congress “Biotechnology: State and Prospects of Development”.

On February 20-22, 2017, in Moscow Gostiny Dvor passed The International Specialized Exhibition World of Biotechnology 2017 and the International Congress “Biotechnology: State and Prospects of Development”.

The events are organized annually to help accelerate the development of the Russian scientific-technological and production base of the bio industry to ensure, on the principles of import substitution, the country’s medicinal and industrial safety, and to create a pool of biotechnological enterprises operating in different economic segments and oriented to the production of demanded bio products for health and Medicine, industry, agriculture and forestry, energy, transport, housing and communal services, ecology and other spheres.

In the framework of the “5-100 Russian academic excellence project” representatives of the RUDN University also took part in the exhibition, congress, sessions of scientific sections, in the Young Scientists Competition.

At the exhibition, the RUDN University made a presentation of it’s developments in sphere of biotechnology:

From the RUDN University at an exhibition presented developments in the sphere of biotechnologies :

  • Small Innovative Enterprise “Meristem”, Agrarian — technological Institute — demonstration of the plants received in test tubes by microchannel reproduction;
  • The center of collective use in the field of pharmacy — developments in the field of pharmacy, a possibility of carrying out researches of different degree of complexity in bioengineering, medicine;
  • Institute of biochemical technology and nanotechnology — a possibility of carrying out various researches.
