The V-th International Youth Scientific Conference “Students for Agriculture”

In accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation between RUDN University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), as well as the working program of cooperation between the RUDN University Agrarian-Technological Institute and the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources of the University of Aristotle, on the 12-15 of March, 2018 was held the V-th International Youth Scientific Conference “Students for Agriculture” with the participation of 12 Russian and 12 Greek students and graduate students.

In accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation between RUDN University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), as well as the working program of cooperation between the RUDN University Agrarian-Technological Institute and the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources of the University of Aristotle, on the 12-15 of March, 2018 was held the V-th International Youth Scientific Conference “Students for Agriculture” with the participation of 12 Russian and 12 Greek students and graduate students.

The conference was held for the fifth time, the first was held in January 2016 in the University of Aristotle, the second - in April 2016 – in RUDN University Agrarian -Technological Institute, the third in March 2017 - the University of Aristotle, the fourth - in April 2017 - again in Moscow.

In 2018, within the framework of the conference, were moderated three sections: “Remote sensing of natural resources”, “Organic farming” and “Sustainable development”. The scientific result of the conference in Greece became a special collection of scientific papers.

In April 2018, the RUDN Uniwersity is planning to hold the VI-th Conference “Students for Agriculture”.

In 2017, RUDN University scientists constructed a new explicit second-order precision difference scheme using modern computer algebra methods for 2-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) [1]. This year, our mathematicians used a new scheme [2] to construct a numerical solution to the Cauchy problem with initial data (for t=0) as satisfying the continuity equation. Scientists managed to achieve previously unattainable accuracy of the continuity equation.

Congratulations to Daria Ostrikova on the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation!

Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Probability and Informatics, scientist Daria Ostrikova has received Russian Presidential Scholarship 2022-2024 for young scientists and post-graduate students. Daria received the scholarship for the implementation of the scientific project "Analytical modeling and techniques of energy efficiency enhancement in 6G terahertz networks" in the direction of modernization "Strategic information technologies, including the issues of creating supercomputers and software development". RUDN discussed the implementation of the provisions of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children

40 representatives from 5 subjects of Russia, 12 state and public organizations, 7 research and educational institutions of higher education took part in the VII scientific and practical seminar on the implementation of the provisions of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Violence of October 25, 2007 (Lanzarote Convention) into the legislation of the Russian Federation.
