The V-th International Youth Scientific Conference “Students for Agriculture”
In accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation between RUDN University and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), as well as the working program of cooperation between the RUDN University Agrarian-Technological Institute and the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources of the University of Aristotle, on the 12-15 of March, 2018 was held the V-th International Youth Scientific Conference “Students for Agriculture” with the participation of 12 Russian and 12 Greek students and graduate students.
The conference was held for the fifth time, the first was held in January 2016 in the University of Aristotle, the second - in April 2016 – in RUDN University Agrarian -Technological Institute, the third in March 2017 - the University of Aristotle, the fourth - in April 2017 - again in Moscow.
In 2018, within the framework of the conference, were moderated three sections: “Remote sensing of natural resources”, “Organic farming” and “Sustainable development”. The scientific result of the conference in Greece became a special collection of scientific papers.
In April 2018, the RUDN Uniwersity is planning to hold the VI-th Conference “Students for Agriculture”.
The Department of Environmental Management of RUDN Institute of Environmental Engineering hosted the student conference "Geoecology: Theory and Practice". More than 260 young scientists presented the results of their research. The geography of participants comprised 22 organisations from Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Egypt, Tajikistan.
The scientific and practical conference “Expanding Boundaries” was held at RUDN Faculty of Philology. 123 postgraduate students from Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia and Russia spoke at round tables about their dissertations and theoretical and practical problems they face in their research.
On December 1–2, RUDN University will host the annual All-Russian scientific conference “Political science in a changing world: new practices and theoretical search.” Its goal is to find and define popular forms of political science for interpreting ongoing global changes.
