RUDN University became the first Russian university with which the oldest University of Venice - Ca' Foscari - intends to cooperate

Ca' Foscari is one of the seven leading Italian universities and the TOP 200 according to QS World University Rankings in 2016 in categories «Economics», «Econometrics» and «Modern Linguistics». According to Times Higher Education rating, Ca' Foscari University is closing the top five research universities in Italy.

At a meeting with the leadership of the Italian university, the RUDN University Institute of Foreign languages presented programs of its summer and winter schools, double bachelor and master's degree programs and discussed with colleagues from Ca' Foscari joint research and publications. The priority area of cooperation will be, first of all, the discipline «Modern languages and linguistics» common to universities - representatives of Ca' Foscari University of Venice and RUDN University.

In 2024, RUDN started accepting applications for the new annual Prize for Scientific Achievement in Chemistry. The award was established to honour contributions to fundamental and applied research, as well as merit in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

5 million rubles for science: RUDN University named the winner of the university’s first prize in mathematics

Sergey Ivanov, a scientist from St. Petersburg, became the first winner of the RUDN University International Prize for scientific achievements and merits in the field of mathematics in the amount of 5 million rubles.
