Hazardous radiation from “safe” devices: scientists talk about factors that enhance human exposure
On October 5, the final of the All-Russian contest of student research projects on the modernization of the fuel and energy complex #EnergyReload was held. The team of the Economics Faculty STOLKERS under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Economics, Professor Yuri Moseykin won the competition finals.
"STOLKERS" is a joint team of students of the Faculty of Economics of RUDN University and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The guys presented a project on the topic "An integrated solution to improve economic efficiency in the coal industry." The jury of the competition noted the deep study and emphasized the practical significance of the project of our participants.
The main winners of the youth competition at different times were participants in internships / internships and summer schools of the Austrian-Russian scientific and educational project S.E.R.P.A. under the guidance of Advisor to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics on International Cooperation, Ph.D., Associate Professor Chernyaev.
RUDN hosted the competition "On the Pages of the Coursework". Twenty-five papers were recognised, 16 of them received the highest marks. One of the winners of the competition is Ravuri Priyamsha Lakhana from India (VI year, "Medical Business", Medical Institute). She researched non-alcoholic steatohepatitis and spoke about who is at risk and what is needed for early diagnosis.
Every year RUDN holds a competition of scientific student works "Joint Start: Let's do science together". The University provides scholarships for the projects of young scientists and student associations. All developments are practice-oriented and have the potential for further commercialization.
Create a project about the problems of atmospheric air, write an article about the dangers of microplastics, talk to schoolchildren about saving resources at home... Or why are students engaged in environmental education?
