RUDN and the Russian Ecological Society agreed to establish a Green Diplomacy Center
The Green Diplomacy Center will carry out joint project activities on two thematic tracks: environmental and climate. The experts of the Center will form a proactive agenda in the international arena in the field of sustainable development, which will reflect the national interests of Russia.
The agreement provides for several key areas of cooperation:
- implementation of joint scientific research and scientific and technical work;
- solution of specific applied problems;
- joint participation in international programs and projects;
- collection, analysis and development of proposals on issues related to the implementation of the National Project “Ecology”.
- The development driver will be the RUDN Institute of Ecology, which was the first in Russia to be accredited by a body for the validation and verification of greenhouse gases in the national accreditation system.
