How to educate spiritual and moral values in a foreign language class — Olga Kozarenko, Associate Professor, IFL
Olga Mikhailovna Kozarenko presented the report “Formation of a sense of citizenship in the classroom in a foreign language in higher education.” The expert noted that in recent years, decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation on the importance of civil, patriotic and moral education have been issued. Scientists and practitioners need to develop strategies for the implementation of these regulations in each subject, in particular in the teaching of foreign languages.
“It is necessary to continue the study of this issue in order to adequately resist the negative influence of traditional spiritual and moral values through foreign language mass media. In foreign language classes, it is important to pay great attention to the formation of a sense of citizenship and patriotism among future specialists”- Olga Mikhailovna Kozarenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages, IFL RUDN University.
“Reports by Olga Mikhailovna Kozarenko are always very topical. These are studies of a high scientific level, as they are empirical in nature. We are pleased to continue scientific cooperation,” Marina Vladimirovna Melnichuk, Head of the Department of English Language and Professional Communication, Doctor of Economics, Ph.D., Professor, Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.
