RUDN University Academic Council traditionally honoured the leaders of student science

The awards were given for individual and collective achievements in international Olympiads, high-profile research competitions and large-scale projects.

RUDN University students demonstrated outstanding results in several outstanding competitions in 2024. These included:

  • The All-Russian student project ‘Your Move’ of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation;
  • The Innovator of Moscow Competition;
  • Changellenge Cup Russia Case Champions;
  • The Student Startup Programme of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations.

My project consists of creating a multi-lingual MineCraft game server. The idea was to adapt the Russian-language server for a non-Russian-speaking audience, as well as to develop an advertising campaign for users from different countries of the world. I carefully considered what task should be fulfilled. I worked hard to develop the translation system and double-checked the mistakes. The Student Startup Programme helped me to significantly expand the user audience of the game project.

We would like to highlight the International Mathematics Competition for University Students. It is included in the prestigious University Missions Moscow International University Ranking. Faculty of Science Team took the second place.

19 students took the first places in the students' research paper competition ‘Project Start: Research Agenda by Host Countries’. It was held during the III International Scientific Conference ‘For the Sustainable Development of Civilisation: Cooperation, Science, Education, Technology’. More than 90 students became prize-winners.

Project Start: esearch Agenda by Host Countries’ is a great opportunity for students to acquire new knowledge as well as apply professional skills in practice! It promotes not only scientific but also cultural exchange. To be honest, I decided to take part in the competition almost at the very last moment, as I was worried that I would not be able to feel the features of the region. However, thanks to the support of my supervisor, Alena Bogdanova, as well as the scientific student society of the RUDN University Institute of Foreign Languages, I decided to take a risk. Many of my acquaintances also submitted works for the competition, which they never regretted, because not only did we have new topics to talk about, but also the support we shared! I would like to thank our university for giving students the opportunity to express themselves, as well as the professors for helping us to do so!
