Calculation of the Probabilistic-Time Characteristics of Establishing a Connection Over a Random Access Radio Channel (Simulation Model)

The software for calculating the probabilistic-time characteristics of establishing a connection via a random access radio channel (a simulation model) is used to simulate the procedure for initiating a connection. In R language, the state space is generated, the subsets of successful connection establishment are selected thereof, the probability of a successful state is analyzed for any limit value of the number of possible retransmissions. For each state from the generated state space, the connection establishment time is calculated. The software comprises a data entry module, a data output module, a module that implements a simulation of the procedure for establishing a connection over a random access radio channel, which calculates the probabilities of a successful and unsuccessful connection and the average time for successful connection establishment on the input data. The software provides the output of the probabilities of successful and unsuccessful connection establishment, average connection time, state space statistics and corresponding schedules.
