Defended his thesis on "Tetrahydropyrrolo [3,2-c] pyridines: Synthesis and reactivity".

Was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

2009

Defended his doctoral dissertation on "Conversion of condensed hydrogenated pyridines and azepines by activated alkynes. The development of a new approach to the synthesis of annelated azocines and azonines”.

2010

Was awarded the title of Professor.

2013

Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, RUDN.

Research

  • Described  the reaction of tandem transformations of tetrahydropyridines and azepines [b] condensed with pyrrole, thiophene, benzothiophene, indole, pyrimidine, naphthyridine and benzene rings by alkynes activated by electron-withdrawing substituents has.
  • Studied the reaction regularities and synthetic possibilities for the production of condensed tetrahydroazocines and hexahydroazocines.
  • Found and studied Domino-reaction of N- (cyanomethyl) azines and azoles salts with o-hydroxybenzaldehydes leading to the effective formation of chromenoimidazoles condensed with various heterocycles.
  • Developed preparative approaches to the synthesis of various tetrazoles based on the multicomponent azido-Ugi reaction.
  • L. Voskresenskiy was awarded the Golden badge of "Laureate" established by"Scientific Partnership», the International Charitable Foundation, and“Cultural Heritage”, the International Fund for the organic synthesis of heterocycles.
  • L. Voskresenskiy is a member of the Editorial Board of the  “Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds” journal; a member of the board of judges of foreign journals: JOC, EuJOC, Organic Letters, Tetrahedron, Tetrahedron letter.
