Design of Industrial and Social Facilities
This profession combines elements of the architect's design activities and the designer's creative approach to the surrounding architectural environment, which helps to maximize the combination of various design methods, materials and technologies, conduct large-scale analytical pre-project activities, calculate the economic cost of the project, and allows you to create a harmonious environmental space, taking into account architectural volumes and subject forms.
The competencies formed during the training process give graduates the opportunity to solve problems related to the design of the interior and exterior of buildings, structures and the surrounding space.
During the five years education period, students study a wide range of basic disciplines, as well as take a foreign language course in the field of professional communication. Lectures are conducted by Russian architects and RUDN University graduates, who are leading experts in their countries.
The main attention of the program is paid to the issues of interior design of buildings, the development of creative design solutions, urban planning solutions for territories and the formation of professional skills in the specialty.

The training is carried out taking into account the socio-economic, climatic, historical and cultural characteristics of various countries, as students from 160 countries of the world, who are representatives of about 500 nationalities, receive education at the university.
In the process of preparation, bachelors undergo practical training in specialized design and research organizations (“Mosproekt”, “Moscow Research and Design Institute of Cultural, Recreational, Sports and Healthcare Objects”, “Central Research and Design and Experimental Institute of Industrial Buildings and facilities”, “All-Union Research Institute of Problems of Scientific and Technological Progress and Information in Construction”, “Restoration Practice”), as well as communicate with leading practitioners in the framework of scientific and methodological seminars, round tables and master classes.
The practice-oriented program is updated annually in order to meet the needs of modern design and the requirements for the level of bachelor’s training.
As a result of mastering the program, students acquire skills in the field of architectural design and are able to use modern software systems to develop design projects of any complexity.
Working in specialized design organizations, bachelors can hold the position of an architect-designer. It is expedient to combine work in workshops with training in a master’s program with subsequent career growth.
