Profession

The program trains professionals in the field of organizing innovative activities of industrial enterprises. Graduates of the program are management specialists, pro-ject and production team leaders in knowledge-intensive, innovation-oriented organizational structures. The profession combines organizational, managerial and innovative activities. A professional in the field of digital transformation in production management is engaged in the development and application of advanced management methods and technological development in modern industrial enterprises, has extensive knowledge and sustainable skills in the field of economics, management, engineering, IT technologies, is able to apply this knowledge and skills for the effective organization of innovative production.

Educational Process

The educational process combines theoretical and practical classes aimed at developing professional competencies in the management of knowledge-intensive pro-jects and the innovative development of industrial enterprises. Students receive in-depth knowledge in the field of management, economics, marketing, manage-ment of high-tech production, systems analysis, business planning, computer modeling, information technology, and economic security. The educational program is practice-oriented. Classes are conducted using modern formats and interactive teaching methods: cases, trainings, master classes, business cases, discussions. Stu-dents study a foreign language in the field of professional communication. Under the guidance of leading scientists of the Engineering Academy, students conduct scientific research, participate in scientific and practical conferences and seminars, and publish the results of their research in highly ranked Russian and foreign journals. The specificity of the program lies in the versatility of student training and the ability of graduates to easily adapt to related types of professional activi-ties, which increases their competitiveness in the labor market.

Practice

Training under the program involves educational and practical knowledge. The practice bases are specialized organizations focused on innovation activities, pri-marily leading enterprises and research centers in various industries, such as:
- Polyus research institute of M.F. Stelmakh (leading scientific center in the field of laser technologies);
- Mission Control Center JSC «TsNIIMash» (basic control center for the movement of launch vehicles and spacecraft in Russia);
- UNIDO Centre for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation (UNIDO – United Nations Industrial Development Organization).
The student is given the opportunity to undergo individual practice at a specialized enterprise of the student’s choice. During the internship, students become fa-miliar with the organization and management of industrial production, with modern innovative technologies, the latest methods and means of conducting scientific research and industrial development.

Graduates of the program are focused on leadership activities in innovation-oriented structures: in high-tech industrial enterprises, in research organizations, in economic, financial and analytical services of companies in various industries and forms of ownership, in government agencies, in educational organizations. Stelmakh», JSC «Central Research Institute for Machine Building».
