In the modern world, energy is the basis for the development of all basic industries and spheres of human activity. In all industrialized countries, the pace of energy development is outstripping the pace of development of other industries. At the same time, most of the electrical and thermal energy consumed in the world is produced by internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbine plants and engines.

Postgraduate students in the field of Electrical and Heat Engineering study issues related to improving the efficiency of power plants, managing energy flows and converting various types of energy into heat.

In the process of training, graduate students are engaged in mathematical and computer modeling, design and design of materials, devices, installations, equipment complexes for electrical and heat engineering purposes.
