The aim of the education is to train qualified specialists in the field of geology, capable of developing innovative methods for solving production problems in the field of prospecting and exploration of oil, gas and solid minerals.
During their studies, students acquire knowledge, develop skills and abilities in the field of analysis of the current state and topical problems of geological science, search and study of geological, geophysical, geochemical information and space images, application of methods of complex geological and geophysical research, creation of three-dimensional geological models, gain experience independent research, applied and pedagogical work.
The main objectives of the training are to teach how to navigate analog and digital geological data, to form an idea of the purpose of innovative methods of geological and geophysical research and information processing, to develop skills in applying innovative methods for forecasting mineral deposits, to develop the ability to navigate in specialized programs and effectively use their capabilities.
