Students on the program acquire skills in the design, installation and operation of machine tools, machine tool systems, automated factories, automatic lines, as well as their components; optimization of the layout, composition and parameters of the accessory equipment.
Training includes the use of modern information technology methods; study of the foundations of modeling and methods of experimental research of mechanical and physical-technical processing processes in order to determine the parameters of equipment that ensure the performance of specified technological operations and contribute to an increase in productivity, quality, environmental friendliness and economic efficiency of processing. Students acquire skills in designing new technological processes of mechanical and physical-technical processing and creating equipment and tools for their implementation.
Graduates of the program are focused on work at any enterprises of the machine-building complex, occupying such managerial positions as chief technologist, chief engineer; and also receive leading positions in the largest research institutes in Russia and in the world.
