The direction is focused on training specialists in the field of nanotechnology, optoelectronics and microsystem technology. An interdisciplinary approach to teaching is aimed at training personnel for applied and fundamental research of nanostructures. In the course of training, masters acquire skills for independent work on the study of materials at the molecular and atomic level, the development of materials with new properties, gain knowledge in the development, design and optimization of products for nano-, optoelectronics, photonic devices, laser complexes, microsystem technology in various fields applications (instrumentation, mechanical engineering, space technologies, medicine, construction, agriculture, auto and aircraft construction, etc.), as well as technologies for their manufacture, they learn to develop methods for conducting research and measuring the parameters and characteristics of nano-, optoelectronic products , photonics and microsystem technology, learn to work with measuring and diagnostic equipment.
Students have the opportunity to conduct research in the educational and scientific laboratories of the department, equipped with modern equipment and software, as well as on the experimental, measuring and technological base of research centers in the field of nanoindustry.
