Department of Applied Economics

The department implements 7 master’s programmes and cooperates with more than 50 partner companies, including SberEducation LLC, Alfa JSC, etc. Companies provide internships, joint programmes and assistance with employment. 67 research and consulting works were carried out at the department for ministries, departments and industrial partners from various sectors of the economy. Graduates become specialists in economic and business management, big data analysts and developers.

The department trains the managerial elite of the internal control and audit system with knowledge of the corporate governance and crisis management methods for control and audit bodies, economic security services of industrial enterprises.

Department of Digital Business Management

The department trains specialists in economics and digital business management with knowledge of economic activity and digital culture. Training will allow students to acquire data mining skills to manage mega-projects in digitalization, business adaptation to digital transformation, and using digital economy tools.

Department of Mathematical Modelling and Information Technology

The department trains specialists with interdisciplinary knowledge in engineering and management in high-tech sectors of the economy. Today, the department provides training under the master’s programme in Mathematical Modelling of Engineering and Economic Systems, postgraduate programmes in Innovation Management and Management.

Department of Hospitality and Restaurant Business

Hospitality and restaurant business are areas which are transforming and developing the fastest in modern economic conditions. The department was created to provide high-quality training for relevant specialists. Training focuses on acquiring practical skills, studying applied disciplines and international standards of hospitality.

Department of Tourism and Service

The department trains specialists of international level. Students are taught international standards. They know the methods and methodology of developing tourism products and interacting with guests. Graduates receive not only applied competencies, but also universal knowledge: they are able to analyse, plan, calculate risks and work in an international environment.

Department of Foreign Languages

Mastery of foreign languages is important for everyone. The department develops a multilingual environment in the Higher School, supervises events in foreign languages and designs a programme for multilingual development. There are 9 languages to choose from to learn at the department. The quality of student training allows us to achieve 100% graduation theses defended in foreign languages and take part in international programmes.

The Higher School of Management trains economists, analysts, developers and IT specialists for state corporations and business. Our graduates solve problems in the development of international tourism, hospitality and restaurant business, tasks in managing companies and developing IT products.

The Higher School of Management educational programmes are implemented in cooperation with partner companies. Curricula are developed jointly with the HR management of large companies, and specialists and top management of state corporations and business are involved in teaching. The internship is carried out exclusively in partner companies in the field of study, which approve the topics of term papers and theses. They include international hotel chains, restaurants and travel agencies, IT development companies and IT integrators, real estate developers.

Every year, the Higher School of Management carries out research work in digital transformation of enterprises, creating intelligent systems, big data processing, tourism planning and development at the regional and federal levels commissioned by industrial partners, ministries and departments.
