Workshop "RUDN University living values: professionalism, research culture"
The living values of the RUDN are one of the most important elements of the strategic development of the university. Living values services are the basis of the corporate culture of the RUDN University and serve as the basis for the formation of corporate identity.
Round table "Ecological problems of the metropolis and ways to solve them, practical experience"
The forthcoming round table will discuss the problems associated with the establishment of a comfortable urban environment in the metropolis, incl. using specially protected areas (SPNA): comfortable environment and indicators of sustainable development.
Annual Scientific Seminar "Karst Ecology"
Purpose of the event - It is planned to discuss questions of adaptations of species from karst ecosystems and prospects of their use in biotechnological developments, methods of isotope analysis for analysis of structural and functional features of karst ecosystems.
Workshop "World Water Day"
Established by the UN in 1993, World Water Day is held annually on March 22. This day emphasizes the importance of fresh water. Currently, 2.2 billion people do not have access to safe water. The Asia-Pacific region has the lowest water availability per capita, with a 30% increase in groundwater use in the region by 2050. Measures are needed to combat the global water crisis.
St. Patrick’s Day
Saint Patrick’s Day is the cultural national holiday of Ireland. It is a public holiday in Ireland, Northern Ireland, the island of Montserrat and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is also widely celebrated by the Irish diaspora around the world, especially in the UK, Canada, USA, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations usually include parades and festivals, performing keili dances, and wearing green clothes or shamrocks.
