Workshop "RUDN University living values: professionalism, research culture"
The living values of the RUDN are one of the most important elements of the strategic development of the university. Living values services are the basis of the corporate culture of the RUDN University and serve as the basis for the formation of corporate identity.
Round table "Ecological problems of the metropolis and ways to solve them, practical experience"
The forthcoming round table will discuss the problems associated with the establishment of a comfortable urban environment in the metropolis, incl. using specially protected areas (SPNA): comfortable environment and indicators of sustainable development.
Scientific seminar “Language aspects of integration and self-identification in the modern world”
The purpose of the event: The scientific seminar is dedicated to improving the quality of teaching foreign languages and cultures in accordance with the new challenges posed to humanitarian education; expanding active contacts with scientists and teachers of foreign languages from leading universities, raising the status of foreign languages, developing the academic reputation of the RUDN University and the incoming mobility of leading scientists in the RUDN University.
Annual Scientific Seminar "Karst Ecology"
Purpose of the event - It is planned to discuss questions of adaptations of species from karst ecosystems and prospects of their use in biotechnological developments, methods of isotope analysis for analysis of structural and functional features of karst ecosystems.
Seminar “Optimal two- stage treatment protocol for a blood cancer model”
A two-stage combined treatment of blood cancer (leukemia, lymphoma) is considered for a given time interval. At the first stage, the patient is given a "hard" therapy (for example, chemotherapy) to achieve the normal functioning of the body; at the second stage, the patient is prescribed a "soft", maintenance therapy (for example, targeted therapy) to consolidate the achieved remission.
Seminar “Nonlinear wave in the system of biological replication”
Mathematical model of continuous species in the form of integral differential equation with space delay in integral simplex is considered. The existence and uniqueness of positive solution together with existence of closed trajectories in steady state position are proved.
Workshop "World Water Day"
Established by the UN in 1993, World Water Day is held annually on March 22. This day emphasizes the importance of fresh water. Currently, 2.2 billion people do not have access to safe water. The Asia-Pacific region has the lowest water availability per capita, with a 30% increase in groundwater use in the region by 2050. Measures are needed to combat the global water crisis.
St. Patrick’s Day
Saint Patrick’s Day is the cultural national holiday of Ireland. It is a public holiday in Ireland, Northern Ireland, the island of Montserrat and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is also widely celebrated by the Irish diaspora around the world, especially in the UK, Canada, USA, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations usually include parades and festivals, performing keili dances, and wearing green clothes or shamrocks.
Scientific and methodological seminar “Topical Issues of Social Pedagogy, Psychology and Management of Developing the Human Resources of Society (Social Management)”
The speaker considers the issue of limiting educational inclusion. The relevance of the study is due to the functioning of the international Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the implementation of the Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation”.
