International Scientific Conference “Soil Health and Stability under Global Change”

About the event

From 7 to 9 September 2026, in the frame of the Alliance of International Science Organizations program will host an international conference on current topics in soil science and ecology. The conference will cover mechanisms for soil carbon stabilization, assessing soil biota and soil function in the context of global change, and monitoring technologies for soil. Renowned scientists from China, Russia, Egypt, Pakistan and other countries will be invited to share their ideas and experiences. Around 50 participants are expected.

Event program includes:

1. Participant registration, opening and closing ceremonies
2. Scientific sections:
   I. Case studies of soil condition and sustainability in terrestrial ecosystems under anthropogenic impacts
   II. Methodological aspects and results of monitoring soil health indicators and greenhouse gas emissions in terrestrial ecosystems
   III. Soil organo-mineral interactions and role of microorganisms in stabilization of organic carbon.
