Round table “Embodied Cognition and Foreign Language Learning”

The Department of foreign languages (RUDN Institute of Medicine) is hosting a university online round table in foreign languages “Embodied Cognition and Foreign Language Learning”.
The key topic of the event is the analysis of the notion of embodied learning that has gained ground in educational sciences over the last decade and has made its way to language education.
The event is aimed at forming socio-cultural competence and professionally- oriented foreign language communicative competence of students of RUDN Institute of Medicine.
Considering various aspects: focuses on embodied approaches in learning foreign languages that hold the potential to engage learners holistically, while simultaneously promoting language learning skills and adding emotional and motivational benefits to language learning.
