We will talk about mathematical modeling of a number of medical problems: monitoring pressure and blood flow velocity during neurosurgical operations, the role of viscous dissipation energy in assessing the risk of aneurysm rupture, comparing various energy components of a hydroelastic system simulating a complex aneurysm. Some mathematical problems arising in vascular surgery will be formulated.
The talk is based on joint work with physicians of the NIMC Clinic. ak. E. N. Meshalkina, Federal Center for Neurosurgery (Novosibirsk).
