We study some nonclassical problems for operator differential equations in abstract spaces. In the first part of the talk we discuss in details the differential equations in Hilbert spaces with self-adjoint operators using the spectral partitions. The second part of the presentation concerns equations in Banach spaces which are obtained by using Fourier series and Bernoulli polynomials.
