Topic: Nanoparticles based on chitosan derivatives for targeted delivery of anticancer drugs.

The report is focused on the study of polymer-analogous transformations of chitosan, chitosan derivatives receiving with the subsequent formation of nanoparticles from these derivatives. The resulting nanoparticles were used as carriers for the anticancer drug paclitaxel for its targeted delivery directly to the tumor cells. The characterization of the resulting nanoparticles is discussed in detail in this report, special attention is also paid to their biological testing in vitro.
