About the event

On May 31 at 18:00 p.m. (Moscow time)

Speaker: PhD, Associate Professor Turtsynsky M. K. (Russian University of transport MIIT, Higher School of Economics, Moscow).

The report will consider affine solutions of the equations of plane oscillations of cold plasma, which, under the assumption of electrostaticity, correspond to the Euler-Poisson equations in the case of repulsion. We will also talk about the results obtained with respect to the equilibrium positions (the zero equilibrium position of the cold plasma equations, both under the assumption of electrostaticity and without it, is unstable in the sense of Lyapunov in the class of all affine solutions), and about arbitrary perturbations of the axially symmetric electrostatic solution.
